Young minds are often too busy doing and can’t find time to just be. Heads are full of anxious thoughts, minds are easily distracted and often restless. This can lead to lack of concentration at school and even trouble sleeping.

In our mindfulness program, students are guided through a series of practical assignments that teach them how to direct their attention, stay focused and concentrate effectively. Students learn to understand how their minds work and the important role it plays on how their bodies react to thoughts and feelings. Skills are developed to help combat stress and stay clam during times when big waves of emotions want to take over. Students will also learn the power of their breath and the importance of pausing throughout the day to just breathe.
