About Our Children’s Yoga Classes
This class focuses on helping children understand their emotions, how to control their emotions, mindfulness, breathing techniques, heart-centered living and the practice of yoga itself. Children will navigate through these topics with open class discussions, imagination play, storytelling and the power of yoga poses using simple breathing tools. Some of the benefits of this yoga program include increased flexibility, strength, coordination, body awareness and self-awareness. Practicing yoga can also increase concentration and add a sense of calmness to the mind.
This class is designed to promote a healthy child and parent connection in a positive learning environment. You will be guided through yoga poses together, work on breathing techniques and develop an understanding of the importance of your emotions. Parents and children will also have fun exploring how mindfulness can be applied to everyday living.
This 45 min class helps prepare your child’s mind for an undisturbed night’s sleep. Children will be guided through a series of relaxing yoga poses, finishing the session with a guided meditation to help ease their busy minds.
